Researching the right therapist can be a daunting task, and my hope that is that the information presented here can help you determine if I am the right therapist for you. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I have been a social worker for over 17 years, and have been providing psychotherapy for the last 12 years. I obtained my Master of Social Work degree from The Florida State University (Go Noles!). My area of expertise is on the impact of health-related conditions on quality of life, grief counseling, finding meaning and purpose, utilizing mindfulness to cope with stress, and adjustments to life transitions. Many of my clients are coping with cancer, fertility, aging, life transitions, and the grief that can arise within each of those areas.

There may be times that you just need someone to talk to and someone who can listen. There may be times that you need specific feedback and interventions. You might feel stressed, confused, disconnected, sad, and need to figure out what to do. You might just have time for 1-5 sessions, or you might want ongoing. We can figure this out together.
